Citations & Verification
Every meaningful claim is traceable to peer-reviewed research. Citations link directly to the original source.
How Citations Work
When the CPI agent makes a claim in a response, it includes an inline citation like(Bernstein et al. 2019). These citations reference the original peer-reviewed paper, linking to the source on SSRN, DOI, or the publishing journal so you can access the full text.
- See a claim with a citation in a chat response
- Click the citation link to open the source
- The original paper opens on the publisher's site (SSRN, journal, etc.)
- Access the full paper to verify the claim in context
Why This Matters
Investment decisions require defensible analysis. When you present findings to your IC or board, you need to be able to answer: “Where does this number come from?”
“Our analysis shows a 3-7% price discount for flood-exposed properties in Southeast markets. This is based on Bernstein et al. (2019), which examined 460,000 home sales across coastal Florida.”
With CPI, every citation traces back to the original peer-reviewed paper. No more “trust me” — every claim is verifiable.
